For me, becoming a physiotherapist was virtually inevitable.

Hetvi Patel

Director / Physiotherapist

“When I was growing up in India, I knew I would like my work to be something to do with the human body,” After seeing the way people in my home country were suffering with injuries and movement issues, I became a physiotherapist in India.

In 2008, I moved to Melbourne to study for Masters in Applied Science – Exercise Physiologist at the University of Victoria. And once I achieved my qualification as an exercise physiologist in 2010, I decided to seek out warmer climates.

“Where I used to live in India it was a tropical area, so I was attracted to the Sunshine Coast,” That’s when I fell in love with Tin Can Bay.

“I started working three days a week in Tin Can Bay in 2012,”

My Tin Can Bay clinic, Cooloola Coast Rehab & Fitness has been going from strength to strength ever since, and now I am branching out to work in Gympie, in residential care as well.
